MINING ITEMS. –The “Dubuque Lead” west of the old powder house, is again being worked and yielding considerable quantities of mineral with a prospect of a “heavy bunch.” Our worthy court clerk P. J. Quigley, and Messrs. C. Welsh, Charles Riley, and Dan Riordan are lucky men. At the court house yesterday, we were shown a fine specimen of the mineral taken out, which would gladden the eyes of a panic-stricken banker.
