LOST HER BONDS Mrs. S. D. Seymour carried $3,200 worth of United States bonds to the Commercial National Bank Friday morning, to have the coupons on which interest was due cut off and interest paid. After transacting this item of business connected with her funded cash assets, the lady left the bank with a large envelope open at one end, which she carried in her hand. After passing down Main Street several blocks she noticed the envelope was empty and the bonds gone, and immediately retraced her steps in search of them, but without success we believe. It was reported in the afternoon that a lad was seen picking up the bonds from the corner of Main and 4th Streets, but we obtained no confirmation of it. The bonds were Nos. 53, 266; 56, 369; 66, 370; 139, 572 to 80 - $900; 96, 829 to 31-$300.
