The Milwaukee

The popular steamer, Milwaukee, under the command of her former Captain E. V. Holcomb leaves this morning at 8 o'clock for upriver, Winona, if not further. All the former officers and crew will be found in their places, with Jake Buck in the bar, surrounded with a first-class stock of stimulants, cigars, &c. The St. Paul papers speak of a rise of 3-5 inches at that spot, and predict that through boats will be found at the levee, which e doubt.
