Dubuque Democratic Herald – Jan. 10, 1865

HARNESS AND SADDLES – The downtown harness and saddlery store of C. J. Corkery, on First Street, is having a good run of customs, and keeps up its reputation for the quality of work made there. The best stock in the market is selected for the manufacture of harness and saddles, and with a number of competent mechanics over whom is Daniel Lavery, foreman, no better work can be turned out in town. None but first class workmen are employed, and Mr. Corkery gives the whole establishment his personal attention. Farmers have found out the place to procure bargains, and are giving Mr. Corkery a liberal trade.
