JUSTICE CANTILLON - This officer will be inducted into office tomorrow, and has selected for his use very commodious and well-arranged rooms in Ogelby Block, over Thompson and Jones bookstore, where he can be found and consulted. While a resident of Massachusetts, Mr. Cantillon held the position of Justice of the Peace six years, and consequently brings to the office experience and a thorough knowledge of the manner of conducting the affairs of the office. Mr. C. is an intelligent, affable and high minded gentlemen, which, together with his knowledge of the position, and experience of five years in the Recorder’s office, gives the best assurance that he will make an efficient and popular Justice. We wish him much success.
