CORRECT TIME

Dubuque is now supplied with the correct time. The town clock has been properly regulated and correctly set by Dr. Horr, the true time having been attained of an astronomical transit. It will be correctly set every week, should the clock be found to vary. We can therefore, congratulate our citizens upon having a correct standards of true time. For this great convenience Dubuque is chiefly indebted to the energy and skill of Dr. Horr and the liberality of Mr. Wood. It has cost considerable labor and expense, and the advantages will accrue to the public should be duly appreciated. It is not only a great public convenience, but it has been so fitted as to consitiute an ornament to the city.
