Fast Time – On Thursday of last week Conductor Cawley ran his train from Dubuque to Independence in two hours and twenty–seven minutes, making in that time fourteen stops, taking wood and water four times, waiting at Manchester ten minutes for dinner, and passing three trains. The usual time is 3:45.
