New Freight Wagons

Five new freight wagons, from the manufactory of John Hesse, Dubuque were paraded down Main Street yesterday. They were splendid specimens of workmanship, and presented a fine appearance, headed by the Germania Band, decorated with flags and filled with Mr. Hesse’s workmen. They were of the pattern known as the “Buffalo,” and are to be used in the transfer of business between this city and Dunleith.
