Accident
~
We are sorry to learn of an accident that befell Mr. E. Blake, the miner, yesterday afternoon. He was in Bobletter’s saloon on Julien Avenue with a couple of persons, when one of them proposed to carry the other on his shoulder, and while in the act of doing so, stumbled against Mr. Blake, who was standing near, breaking his leg below the knee. He was carried home on a cot and the aid of two physicians summoned. He is a middle aged man and to repair the injury it will take months of time.
