Pork Packing
~
Messrs. Brackett and Morse commenced packing pork on Monday, and cut up a large number of hogs. Their steam rendering apparatus will be in working order today, and soon the establishment will be in full blast. A couple of men from Chicago have been engaged who are adept in the business and can cut up more hogs than any six men in the city. When the works get in full operation it will repay the visitor to take a look through premises. Spareribs, tenderloins and pig’s feet, sold at a song.
