Historian. Adrian J. Aitchison

A lifelong interest in the history of the CASCADE area led Aitchison to become the principal force behind the establishment of the TRI-COUNTY MUSEUM in Cascade. A dairy farmer by profession, Aitchison once farmed over 300 acres. He served as a township clerk and trustee for many years, a trustee of the county library, and an elder of the Presbyterian Church. Aitchison Road running from Cascade city limits north to the FARLEY Road was named in his honor. Committed to furthering historical research, Aitchison was one of the inspirations in the preparation of the county library.
