The promotion of Private Robert J. Brewer from the rank of private has been announced at Laughlin Army Air Field, located near Del Rio, Texas. At this post, where student officers receive specialized training in piloting, the Martin B-26 Maurder, world’s fastest medium bomber. Corp Brewer is on duty as a supply clerk. He is the son of Owen S. Brewer, 2615 Pinard Street.
