Albert M. Jaeggi, Captain Iowa National Guard, was born May 30, 1865, in Dubuque, Iowa. He was educated in the public schools of his native state; attended St. Mary's, St Joseph's and the Bayless college.
In 1885 he became a private in company A, fourth regiment Iowa national guard; and became sergeant, second lieutenant and first lieutenant of company A, first regiment.
In 1898-99 he was captain and adjutant of the forty-ninth regiment Iowa United States volunteers during the Spanish-American war.
He is a successful merchant of Dubuque, Iowa; and captain and adjutant of the fifty-third regiment Iowa national guard. He was presented with the diamond for 25 years continuous service medal by the state Dec. 18, 1910.
