This is interesting and I must say I struck out everywhere when using the QUIGLEY name. I did find something interesting in 1880 in Albion Township, Butler County, Iowa. There resides a William A. Brown who has a wife Minn A. Brown. Knowing the gross errors census takers made this seemed to be a possible match but then her birth date is 1859. Would that be possible? Also interesting is that another member of the household, a kinsman, is Percey Killaly. Killaly could be the census takers spelling of someone trying to tell him/her Quigley. I need to make some trips but I'll keep snooping around.
