E.R.ALLEN trading post on the Little Sioux

Does anyone have any information about a Trading Post 'near O'Brien Co or Clay Co' along the Little Sioux? It was allegedly 1/4 mile from the Gardner cabin. It was apparently there at the time of the Spirit Lake Massacre. E.R. (Erastus) ALLEN and family owned and ran it. and family stories have it that it was raided by 'Ink" and troop.
Any info welcome.
