Pearl C. Swanson

Pearl C. Swanson, 65, of Shingle Springs, California, a native of Mason City, died in a Shingle Springs Hospital on October 5 following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held in the Leyson Funeral Chapel at Milford Saturday, October 10, with burial in the family plot south of Milford.

Mrs. Swanson lived in Milford for a number of years until about 15 years ago when she moved to Cherokee where she was employed. She moved to California four years ago. Mrs. Swanson was a member of the Chrysolite Rebbecca Lodge where she held a Degree of Honor.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle Titterington of Sacramento, Calif., Robert Titterington of Yankton, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Watson of Rialto, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Walton of Sacramento; a brother, Paul Griffin of Wapello, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
