MRS. H. BOYER LAID
TO REST FRIDAY

Mrs. H. Boyer, a former resident of Lake Park, but who has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Delbert Humphrey near Ocheyedan for the past few years, passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Martin Winters near Lake Park, after having been in poor health for the year.

Anna Elizabeth Rosenstock was born near Hagerstown, Maryland, June 20, 1844, and passed away at the home of her daughter near Lake Park, Wednesday, September 24, 1930, being at the time of her death 80 years, three months and four days of age.

At the age of nine years she moved with her parents to Mt. Carroll, Carroll county, Illinois, where she grew to womanhood.

On October 27, 1864 she was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Boyer, and to this union eleven children were born all of whom are living except one who died in childhood.

In October 1887 they moved to Conrad, Grundy County, Iowa, living on a farm near there until March 1900 when they moved to a farm near Lake Park, where they lived until the death of her husband on December 10, 1910.

In the spring of 1911 she moved to her home in Lake Park residing there for a number of years, after which she made her home among her children. Mrs. Boyer had always enjoyed good health until about a year ago, when she stared failing in health and as the months passed she grew more feeble.

She spent the last three years of her life with her daughter Mrs. Delbert Humphrey near Ocheyedan, being a the home of her daughter Mrs. Martin Winters near Lake Park at the time of her death.

Mrs. Boyer became a member of the church in early childhood and was always a faithful Christian and was at the time of her death a member of the Presbyterian church of Lake Park. She was of a kind cheerful disposition and will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss ten children, five sons and five daughters, namely: Mrs. Cora Strickler, of Kansas city, Mo. Mrs. Nellie Stover of Conrad, Ia., Mrs. Sadie Winters, of Lake Park, Ia.; Mrs. Harriett Johnson of Russell, Minn.; Mrs. Katherine Humphrey of Ocheyeda, Ia; Clifford Boyer of Marshall, Minnesota; Will Boyer of Mt. Vernon, Ia.; Charles Boyer of Russell, Minnesota and Fed Boyer of Lake Park Ia.; Harry Boyer of Ocheyedan, Ia.

Thirty one grand children and eleven great grand children; one sister Mrs. Elmer Wiler of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, and two brothers, Scot Rosenstock and Clifford Rosenstock of David City, Neb., and a great many friends.

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, September 26, at the Presbyterian church, being conducted by the pastor Rev. B.F. Pickering, and the interment was made in the Silver Lake Cemetery.
