Orville A. Bunker, an old resident of Milford died at the Soldiers’ home in Marshaltown last week. Funeral service was held at Marshalltown Sunday and remains were brought to Arnolds Park Monday for interment in the Okoboji cemetery. The remains were accompanied to Arnolds Park by Mrs. George Barney and Fred Bunker of Cedar Rapids, the only living children. Members of the Milford G.A.R. accompanied the remains from Milford to Okoboji.
Mr. Bunker was 89 years of age. He came to Dickinson county in 1865, locating at Milford where he resided until about 25 years ago, when Mrs. Bunker passed away. After the death of his wife he lived with his children for a number of years before going to Marshalltown. He was a man held in the highest esteem by his many acquaintances.
