Last Rites for Duane E. Wells, 54, of Milford, were held at 11:00 am at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Vincent Fricke, officiating. Burial was at the Milford Cemetery.
Mr. Wells was born March 1, 1915, in Dickenson Co., the son of Mr.and Mrs. Glen A. Wells. He attended Excelsior Cons. school and the Junior College at Sheldon. He was employed as a building foreman.
He is survived by his widow, Vivian; one son, Gary of Emmetsburg and one daughter, Mrs. Michael
Moklebust of San Ramon, CA. Five grandchildren also survive as do a brother, Darrell of Ocheyedan and one sister, Mrs.Lloyd Rodenberg of Hopkins, MN. The Leyson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
