New London (IA) -- Last rites for Michael Owen, 6-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thomas, will be held at Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian church, Pleasant Grove, at 2 p.m. Friday (May 6, 1949). Reverend George Krieg, a former pastor of the church, will return to conduct the service. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. The baby was born November 13, 1948. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Thomas, New London, and Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Lewis, Stephensville, Texas. The body is at the McDonald funeral home.
