Catherine Ann Logas

Catherine Ann Logas, 77, of Burlington, formerly of Mediapolis died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.

Born December 2, 1943 in Williston, ND, she was the daughter of Bernard and Ada (Theodorson) Barensheer.

Catherine was a graduate of Williston, North Dakota High School and was a payroll specialist for 24 years at Southeastern Community College. She was of the Catholic faith.

Catherine enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, traveling, going out with friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Scott (Holly) Logas of Burlington, IA, and Karen (Larry) Arnold of Sierra Vista, AZ; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband "Red" Heater, her brother John and her sister Betty.

The Celebration of Life for Catherine Logas and "Red" Heater will be held 11:00-1:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Eagles in Burlington, IA.

Cremation has been accorded.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Special Needs Foundation.
