Alvina M. Timmerman, 87, of 1343 Ashmun St., died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 1991, at the Elm View Care Center.
Born Sept. 16, 1904, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Augusta Luth Timmerman.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sisters, Marcile Timmerman, with whom she made her home, Clara Luth and Mable Goble, both of Burlington, and Edna Crow, Yarmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call this afternoon and evening at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Miss Timmerman will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Latty Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Zion United Church of Christ.
