Genevieve I. Siefken, 80, of the Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center, formerly of 1614 Agency St., died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 1991 at the Klein unit.

Born Dec. 30, 1910, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Frank and Anna Orth Brust. She married Norbert Siefken April 25, 1934, in Burlington. He died in 1971.

She was a graduate of St. Patricks Commercial School. She retired from the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant after working there nine years, and formerly owned and operated The Pub in Dodgeville. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include three sisters, Ethel Stumpf, Kay Garnant and Dorothy Frey, all of Burlington; one brother, Russell Brust, Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday with visitation following at Lunning Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. Siefken will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at St. Patricks Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Phillips officiation. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for St. Patricks Catholic Church.
