Josephine Walker

Josephine L. Walker, 75, Route 2, Burlington, died at 1:23 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Burlington Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1910, in Des Moines County to Joseph and Augusta Luth Timmerman. She married Paul Walker Dec. 14, 1938, in Burlington.

She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Lolene Roberts and Mrs. Shirley J. Downs, both of Burlington, Mrs. Paula L. Lucas of rural Burlington, and Mrs. Maedean K. Osborn of Bluegrass; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Luth, Mrs. Mable Gobel, Mrs. Alvina Timmerman and Mrs. Marcile Timmerman, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Edna Crow of Yarmouth; nieces and nephews.

Services are pending at Prugh Funeral Service with the Rev. Dale Hempen officiating. Burial will be in North Walker Cemetery.

A memorial for the Zion United Church of Christ has been established.
