Everett H. Wallentine

Everett H. Wallentine, 60, formerly of Burlington, recently of 709 Fillmore, Topeka, Kan., was found dead in his car in Cross City, Fla., of accidental asphyxiation, Saturday, Feb. 7.

He was born in Morning Sun, Sept. 15, 1909, and lived in Burlington and the Morning Sun area until moving to Topeka in 1953.

Mr. Wallentine was married to La Vena Scheideman in Burlington, Oct. 23, 1946.

He was a disabled Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving in addition to his wife in Topeka are four children, Carol, Gail, Patty and Jerry, all at home; two brothers, former Burlington residents, Aaron Wallentine, Dallas, Tex., and Homer Wallentine, South Gate, Calif.; a sister, also formerly of Burlington, Mrs. Gerald Randolph, Bourbonnais, Ill.; two brothers-in-law in Burlington are Daniel and Edwin Scheideman

Burial was Feb. 13 in Topeka.
