MRS. ESTHER HUMMER

Mrs. Esther Hummer, 66, 1406 N. Eighth St., Burlington, died Saturday morning (February 28, 1970) in Klein Memorial hospital.

Mrs. Hummer was born January 21, 1904 in Burlington, the daughter of Fred and Ida (Laue) Lucas. She married Perry Hummer on December 5, 1925 in Burlington. She was a life member of St. John Church of Christ and the church guild.

Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Darlene Wagler, Mrs. Geraldine Kranzler and Mrs. Roma Duncan, Burlington and Mrs. Delores LaVine, West Burlington; two sons, Bernard and Wayne, Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Selma Drebenstedt, Danville; and a brother, Harry Lucas, Sperry; 18 grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday with burial in St. Johns cemetery.
