MRS. W. F. SCHROEDER

Mrs. Ida Schroeder, the beloved wife of W. F. Schroeder, a bright gifted woman, who was held in the highest esteem by all who had the honor of her acquaintance, passed away at the family home, No. 1014 North Tenth street at 5:40 o'clock yesterday morning (7-06-1911). She had been a sufferer during many weary months, and had borne her troubles with patience and fortitude. Ida Woepking was born in the house in which she passed away, March 7, 1872, and had always made Burlington her home. She graduated from the Burlington High school with the class of 1890, attended the training school at the Saunderson building for two years and then became a very popular and successful teacher in the county schools, where she remained busy until her marriage to William F. Schroeder, which took place October 28, 1896. The one child that came to bless this happy union, passed away in infancy. Mrs. Schroeder was the youngest of nine children of whom but two survive; Theodore Woepking, of this city, and Mrs. W. H. Buffe, of Fremont, Nebr. She had long been a faithful member of the first German Evangelical Church and the funeral will be held from the family home, Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. She will be held in loving remembrance by all who knew her.
