Vicki L. Maddox, 77, of Burlington, died Monday, June 15, 2020 in Washington.

A private interment will be held at (South) Walker Cemetery in Burlington. A general memorial has been established. Online condolences may be sent for Vicki’s family through the web at www.jonesfh.com.

Vicki was born February 25, 1943 in Burlington, the daughter of Robert Ogborne and Louise LaVon (Bachell) Giles.

She graduated from Burlington High School and from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Vicki was united in marriage to Albert “Sonny” Maddox on December 10, 1960 in Burlington.

Vicki was a member of Grace Methodist Church. She loved her farm, fishing, watching nature and all animals.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Kimberley) Maddox of Henderson, NV; daughter, Robin (Stephanie) Maddox of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Rochelle “Shelly” Maddox of Livingston, LA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Kay Brunk of Burlington, IA; sister, Teri Vonna Bates; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Rusty Maddox.
