Mrs. Emma Frank

Mrs. Emma Matilda Frank, 86, of Burlington rural route 2, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday in St. Francis hospital. She had been a patient there since May 10.

She was born Dec 14, 1871, in Des Moines county, the daughter of Henry and Marie Davis (Dravis), Sr., and was married in the same county to John George Frank on March 22, 1892.

Mrs. Frank was a member of the Kingston Methodist church. She had been making her home with two sons and a daughter.

Surviving are seven sons: Wesley and Henry, at home; William of Burlington, Harry of Morning Sun, Louis of Salem, Reuben of New London, and Churley of Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Bischoff, Mediapolis, Mrs. Arthur Mellinger, Burlington, and Bertha Frank, at home. 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Anna Kneedy, Kingston, Mrs. Lena Drebenstedt, Philadelphia, Ma., and Mrs. Lizzie Henson, Kingston. Three brothers and a sister are dead.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallen’s chapel, with the Rev. Donald H. Rollstin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
