Dean Kay Richardson

Dean K Richardson, 60, of Clinton, formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1994, at Wyndcrest Nursing Home in Clinton.

Born Nov. 5, 1934, in Winterset, he was the son of Melvin and Dorothy Mapes Richardson.

Mr. Richardson worked as a short order cook while in Burlington.

In 1967 he moved from Burlington to Clinton where he worked as a janitor for the Jane Lamb Hospital and for McElenney's Motors.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton.

Survivors include three sisters, Donna Cauthorn of Clinton, Deborah Huff of Farmington, MO., and Dora F. Gann of Port Arthur, Texas; and three brothers, Gene Ray Richardson, Sr. of Nevada, Iowa, Gary Richardson of Barnhart, MO., and Jerry Richardson of Glenwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother and his grandparents.

The body has been donated to the Univ. of Iowa Hospital's Dept. of Anatomy.

Arrangements are being handled by the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home of Clinton.

A memorial has been established.
