Mrs. Laura Card of Mt. Pleasant Taken By Death

Mrs. Laura Alameda Card, Mt. Pleasant, Ia., died at the Theodore Thompson residence on the Madison road at 9:45 last night.

Mrs. Card, a native of Burlington, had been a resident to Mt. Pleasant for the past 15 years. She was visiting at the Thompson home she became ill.

She was born Aug. 23, 1874, the daughter of Charles and Nettie Paterson. She was the wife of Delbert Card, and a member of the Methodist church.

The body was removed to Prugh's chapel pending of arrangements for her funeral

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Alameda Card of Mt. Pleasant will be held at Prugh's chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
