Sally Marlene Inghram, 83, of Palm Bay, Florida, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.

Born June 26, 1934, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Clyde and Hazel Mehaffy. On Feb. 10, 1954, she married Robert E. Inghram.

Mrs. Inghram worked for Dr. Samuelson, Sylvania, National Bank, Southeastern Community College, Champion Spark Plug and the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, and she assisted her husband in several business ventures.

She was a 1952 graduate of Burlington High School and a lifelong member of Community of Christ Church, where she held the office of priest and was co-pastor of the Palm Bay branch.

She was an avid sports fan who especially loved cheering for her children and grandchildren in their activities. She loved crafting, cooking, dining with family and friends, traveling with her husband, doing work for her church and helping anyone in need.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Michael Scott and Terry Harlan; one brother, Ronald T. Mehaffy; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother.

The funeral for Mrs. Inghram will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at Community of Christ Church in Burlington.

Memorials have been established for Community of Christ Church and Outreach International.
