Mediapolis - Mrs. A. E. Miller, a former resident of Mediapolis, died May 1 at Fairview hospital, Minneapolis, Minn.
Cora Lee Lusk was the daughter of Marion and Helen Gillette Lusk and was born near Sperry on May 17, 1867. On Dec. 26, 1888, she was married to Allen E. Miller. He died Dec. 10, 1916.
For the past several years, Mrs. Miller had lived at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Norton in Minneapolis.
In addition to Mrs. Norton, she leaves 4 other children; Mrs. Theodore Blake, Mediapolis, O.H. Miller, Ft. Myers, Fla., Dan L. Miller, Conrad, and Mrs. Howard Smith, Mt. Union. A son, Russell Miller is dead.
Also surviving are 2 half-sisters, Mrs. E.E. Fachelberger, Muscatine, and Mrs. Della Williams, Oakville; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body will arrive at the Theodore Blake home Wednesday. Last rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Miller was a member. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.
