Mrs. Martha Beatty Meck, 71 years old, wife of John Meck, 1404 South Fifteenth Street, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Burlington Hospital, following an illness estending over a period of several weeks.
Funeral services will be held from Unterkircher's funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. William Marten, pastor of St. Luke's Evangelical church will be the officiating minister and burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Friends may view the body at the funeral home.
Mrs. Meck was born in Fayette county, Ohio February 15, 1853. She is survived by her husband and six children: George, Thomas, John and William Meck, Mrs. L. R. Weaver and Mrs. William Hodges all of Burlington. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. George Dewein preceded her in death January 15, 1923.
