Anna Bell Puckett, 70, of 2426 Washington St., died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Jan. 18, 1921, in Douglas, Neb., she was the daughter of Emil and Nina Mae Manning Engle.

She was of the Baptist faith. She has been employed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Mercy Hospital and BMC in housekeeping.

Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Frances (Leland) Aldridge, Oskaloosa; three brothers, Ernie Engle, Burlington, Harold Engle, Brighton, and Jack Engle, Morning Sun; two sisters, Helen Cooper and Dorothy Savage, both of Burlington; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today at Lunning Chapel with [sic] the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Puckett will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Gregg A. Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
