Winnie May Sullivan, 90, of 2424 Herman Ave.,Burlington, died 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 1, 1905, in Basco, Ill., she was the daughter of Lucien and Salina Bavery Ancelet. She married John Henry Sullivan on June 26, 1925 in Basco, Ill. He died Sept. 13, 1990.
Mrs. Sullivan was a homemaker. She worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant during World War II and also at the Embalming Burial Case Co. for one year while her husband was ill. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Sullivan of Burlington and Robert Sullivan of New London; one daughter, Doris Wilson of Burlington; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and one sister, Elvena Gesling of Burlington.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Sunday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Sullivan will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Shirley Bliven officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
