Jerry K. Partridge

Jerry K. Partridge, 61, of Lampe, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

A memorial service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dogwood Canyon Chapel in Lampe, Mo. A private burial will be at Long Creek Cemetery in Danville at a later date.

Visitation in Fairfield will be 4-8 p.m. Feb. 15, at Behner Funeral Home.

Visitation also will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Mo.

Memorials may be sent to Faith Lutheran Music Team or Building Fund, 221 Malone St., Branson, Mo. 65616; Fairfield Fire Department, 104 N. Second St., Fairfield 52556; or Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1601 S. Main St., Fairfield 52556.

Branson arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson.

Fairfield arrangements are under the direction of Behner Funeral Home.

Mr. Partridge was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Fort Madison, the son of Hugh and Betty Edwards Partridge. He married Mary Ann Schnettgoecke June 27, 1975, in Florissant, Mo.

He graduated from Danville High School.

He was president of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and earned a bachelor of science degree at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville.

He worked in agriculture sales for 35 years.

He was a volunteer fireman for Lockridge and Fairfield fire departments.

He retired to Lampe in March 2011, where he worked at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.

He was an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson.

He enjoyed trout fishing, restoring his '31 hot rod with his friends, and spending time with is grandchildren and family.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ann Partridge; one son, J.D. Partridge and wife Kara of St. Joseph, Mo.; one daughter, Rebecca Partridge Blake and her husband Hunter of Allen, Texas; one sister, Sherry Drinkall of Cape Fair, Mo.; one brother Terry Partridge of St. Charles, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry K. Partridge, 61, of Lampe, Missouri, died surrounded by his family on Monday, February 3, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

The memorial service was Feb. 9, 2014, at Dogwood Canyon Chapel in Lampe, Missouri. A private burial will be at the Long Creek Cemetery in Danville, Iowa, at a later date.

Visitation in Fairfield, Iowa, will be held Saturday, February 15, at the Behner Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m.

Branson arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home. Fairfield arrangements are under the direction of Behner Funeral Home.

Jerry K. Partridge was born February 20, 1952, in Fort Madison, Iowa. He was the son of Hugh and Betty (Edwards) Partridge.

Jerry graduated from Danville High School in Danville, Iowa. He furthered his education at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Jerry was president of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

He was an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Missouri.

Jerry enjoyed trout fishing, restoring his '31 hot rod with is friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Betty Partridge, and a nephew, Aaron Drinkall.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Partridge; son, J.D. Partridge and Kara of St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Rebecca Partridge Blake and husband Hunter of Allen, Texas; sister, Sherry Drinkall and husband Paul of Cape Fair, Missouri; brother, Terry Partridge and wife Beth of St. Charles, Illinois; three grandchildren, Morgan Partridge, Mason Partridge and Amelia Blake; and eight nephews and two nieces.
