BURLINGTON MAN, RESIDENT HERE 45 YEARS, DIES

Herman Tschenisch, 89, a resident of Burlington 45 years, died at 9:30 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Kupisch, 119 South Fifth street, after a short illness.

Mr. Tschenisch was born in Germany March 20, 1848 and would have been 90 years old Saturday of next week. The long resident of Burlington was a skilled worker and builder of musical instruments.

His wife died in 1918. Surviving besides his daughter Mrs. Kupisch are: another daughter, Mrs. Frank Grothe of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; two grand-daughters, Mrs. Clarence Groth of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Kermit Wilson of Chicago, and a great grandson, Danny Wilson of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at the Unterkircher funeral home at a time to be determined later.
