Mrs. Kathryn Benson Clarkson, 26, a Burlington native, died of natural causes Sunday, Feb. 19, at Presbyterian hospital, Dallas, Texas.

She was born Jan. 12, 1952, the daughter of Paul E. and Patricia Lightfoot Benson. She graduated from Burlington high school in 1970, attended George Washington university, Washington, D.C., and graduated from Southern Methodist university, Dallas.

She married Jonathon Marsh Clarkson in June 1974 at Burlington. She worked at William Bass Co. Design Center, Dallas.

Surviving: The husband; parents, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. John E. (Barbara) Smith II, Atlanta, Ga., and Susan Benson, attending college in Madrid, Spain; brother, John C. Benson, Burlington; grandmother, Mrs. Charles McLinn, Burlington.

Funeral was held Monday at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal church, Dallas.

Graveside services, 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aspen Grove cemetery, Rev. William Clarkson IV. A memorial fund has been established at Presbyterian hospital, Dallas.
