Area Death Notice for Glenn Andrew Watson

Glenn Andrew (Tip) Watson, 71, of 1821 Division, died at 10:03 a.m. Monday, June 2, 1980, in Burlington Medical Center.
He was born Oct 6, 1908, in West Chester, to Christopher and Mary Baker Watson. He married Cecile M. Dunbar on Nov.16, 1933. She died April 11, 1978.
He was a retired plumber, a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges and the Cascade Boat Club and was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving: two sons, James Andrew, Burlington and Larry, Davenport; three brothers, Wilber, Washington, Gordon, Galesburg, Ill., and James, Davenport; five grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Prugh’s chapel, Rev. Philip S. Windsor; Aspen Grove cemetery.
