Anna Lutenegger, 95, of Northridge Care Center in New Hope, Minnesota, formerly of Burlington, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday, February 10, 1997, at the care center.

Born January 23, 1902, at Donatus, she was the daughter of Nicholas B. and Margaret Thomas Kass. She married Joseph Lutenegger on November 23, 1944, in West Burlington. He died September 21, 1968.

Mrs. Lutenegger was a drapery seamstress for J. S. Schramm Company from 1942 to 1984 and also worked at Bennett's Home Center. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of West Burlington.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Lutenegger of Champlin, Minnesota; three grandsons; one brother, Joseph Kass of Fulda, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Lutenegger will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Reverend Gerald Stouvenel officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
