Mrs. Maria Anna Lutenegger, 89, 900 Gratton, died at her home Wednesday (March 17, 1948) at 2:50 p.m. after an extended illness.

She was born in Rohle, Austria, January 10, 1869, the daughter of John and Mary Nutz Stodt. She came to this country and Burlington 64 years ago. September 13, 1886, she married Joseph Lutenegger in Burlington. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, and a member of the St. Ann society of the church. Surviving are her husband; 3 sons, Albin, Harry and Joseph, of Burlington; 2 brothers, John Stodt, Detroit, Michigan, and Frank Stodt, Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Amelia Kubisch, Burlington; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and 3 sisters are dead.

Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's church. The cortege will leave Prugh's chapel at 8:45. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday at 7 p.m.
