Mrs. Laura Scheitzer, 84, 1714 Mt. Pleasant, died Monday at 1:30 a.m. in Des Moines County hospital. She had been a patient for 14 months.
The former Laura Senn, she was born Dec 1, 1880, in Burlington, the daughter of Rudolph and Barbara Moehn Senn. She married Arthur Malm, Oct 29, 1902. Charles Schweitzer, Feb 17, 1936. Both are dead.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Curch.
Survivors include a son, Marvin Malm, Burlington; two step-daughters, Mrs. Orville Waddle of New London, and Mrs. Henry Gerst of Oakville; a brother Albert Senn of Clifton, N.J.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, five brothers and three sisters are dead.
Services will be Wednesday at 3:30 P.M. at Prugh's chapel, with the Rev. G. A. Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
