Services to be Held Wednesday Afternoon of Flint River Resident

Christ Doemland died in his residence in Flint River township on Roosevelt road at 12:30 a.m. today. He had been in ill health one year.
He was born in Prussia Oct. 13, 1854. He was married Dec. 6, 1883, in Burlington to Miss Fredericka Beahne(sic). Mr. Doemland came to Burlington direct from Prussia 53 years ago. He is survived by his wife and two children; Earl of Burlington and Mrs. Bertha Koerner of Peoria, Ill., and a brother and sister in Germany. One son, Otto, died in 1906.
Mr. Doemland was a member of First Evangelical church.
Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. J.H. Buescher will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
