Born June 7, 1917, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Roy Samuel and Ossie Clove Augustine Masters. On April 4, 1942, she married Milton Mennen in Hannibal, Mo. He died Sept. 13, 1979. On Nov. 9, 1981, she married John Hird in Yuma, Ariz. He died June 22, 1986.
Mrs. Hird was a homemaker.
She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.
Survivors include three stepchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
The graveside service for Mrs. Hird will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Purcell officiating.
Memorials have been established for the American Heart Association and Asbury United Methodist Church.
