Mrs. Sherry Lynn Hull, 62, of Augusta died at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington

Born July 31, 1952, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Forrest Wran “Frosty” and Wilma L. Hunter Van Osdol. On Nov. 8, 1970, she married Daniel “Toad” W. Hull in Burlington.

Mrs. Hull worked 35 years for Doran and Ward Printing. She was a 1970 graduate of Burlington High School. She attended West Hill United Methodist Church. She was past secretary for the Des Moines County Chapter 271 Pheasants Forever and Des Moines County Chapter 17 NRA. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, yard work and reading.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Christine Ambrose of Blue Springs, Mo.; one son, David Hull of McHenry, Ill; two grandchildren; her mother of Burlington; three sisters, Janice Kiersey and Pamela Jankowski, both of Burlington, and Linda Hall of West Burlington; and one brother, Wayne Van Osdol of St. Cloud, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A private family service for Mrs. Hull will be in South Walker Cemetery, rural Burlington. The body has been cremated.
