SPERRY - William Leslie Granaman, 70, died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 11.

He was the son of Charles H. and Minnie Ping Granaman, and was born December 13, 1901.

He married Hazel Marshall on February 22, 1922.

Mr. Granaman spent most of his life farming in the Sperry vicinity.

Surviving: The wife; four daughters: Mrs. Lois Dowell, Mrs. Betty Brockway, Mrs. Evelyn Murgia, and Mrs. Shirley Hales, all of Burlington; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and four sisters; Mrs. Zaida Gesling, Carman, Illinois; Mrs. Ethel Gieselman, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Frances Peterson, Mediapolis, and Mrs. Lillian Hightower of Burlington.

Funeral: Fry Chapel, Mediapolis, at 2 p.m. Thursday; Reverend J. Edward Davis; Memorial Park cemetery. A memorial to the Cancer Fund has been established.
