Mrs. A. A. Koett Died Saturday
Resident of Burlington 33 years, Had Been Ill For Four MonthsMrs. Andrew A. Koett, 56, resident of Burlington for 33 years, diet at her home, 310 South Starr Avenue, Saturday night at 9:20 o'clock after four months of illness.
Mary Elizabeth Morrison was born at Douds-Leando, Ia., Aug. 6, 1877, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Morrison, and married at Ottumwa, Nov. 23, 1895, to Andrew A. Koett who survived her. The family came here 33 years ago. Mrs. Koett was a member of St. John's Catholic church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose lodge.
Besides her husband she is survived by eight daughters, Miss Clara Koett, Mrs. J. R. Snyder, Miss Mary Koett, Miss Naomi Koett, Mrs. F. H. Pratt and Mrs. F. A. Streedbeck, all of Burlington. Mrs. M. L Sheahan of New York City, and Mrs. H. J. Thompson of Omaha, Neb.; three sons, L. C. Koett, A. E. Koett and C. A. Koett, all of Burlington; one brother, Arthur Morrison, of Winthrop, Mass; and 19 grandchildren. One son, Walter Koett, proceeded her in death.
Funeral services will be held in St. John's church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, preceded by short services at the Unterkircher's funeral home at 8:30 o'clock, with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
The Women of the Moose are requested to attend the funeral. The degree staff will be in uniform and will meet at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning at Moose temple.
