Mr. Thomas "T.J." Elmore, 40, of Burlington died Monday, December 22, 2014, at his home.
Born December 12, 1974 in Burlington, he was the son of Doran Elmore and Debbie Schier.
He worked in construction and concrete work for Carl A. Nelson Co. and previously had worked for Graystone Concrete.
He enjoyed playing baseball having played on a local men's league and going hunting with his dad. He loved spending time with his children.
Survivors include four daughters, Valerie Beggs Elmore and Amira Elmore both of Burlington and Olivia Elmore and Avery Elmore both of Iowa City; his mother, Debbie Catanzaro of Mesa, Arizona; maternal grandmother, Patricia Schier of Burlington; sister, Nichole Catanzaro of Mesa, Arizona and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather and stepmother.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established.
Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
