Port Wickhart Dies Today at Iowa City
Port F. Wickhart, 1722 Louisa street, electrician at the Peoples Gas and Electric company, died today at University hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, after being ill since last November.
His was born on a farm west of Kingston, Iowa, in 1894. Mr. Wickhart was a member of Des Moines lodge No. 1, Masons, and of Bethany Lutheran church.
Surviving are his,father, John C. Wickhart of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Tracey of Peoria, Illinois; and three brothers, Martin P. of Peoria, and Harry and Ray of Burlington.
Funeral services have, not been arranged. The body is at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home.
